About CEDRIC WILLIAMS:
Cedric is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. He has worked for State Farm Insurance for more than 27 years in a variety of leadership and claims positions and currently serves as a State Farm Agent in Forrest City.
Cedric and his wife, Brandye, have made Forrest City their home and have dedicated themselves to strengthening the community through public service, civic engagement, youth development, and economic opportunity. They are proud parents of two daughters, Tyra and Sydni.
As Mayor of Forrest City, Cedric worked to improve public safety, strengthen the city’s finances, secure infrastructure investments, support economic development, and build partnerships throughout the region. His administration helped secure millions of dollars in watershed, drainage, and wastewater infrastructure funding; implemented ShotSpotter technology; introduced drone capabilities for Police and Fire Departments; improved parks and public facilities; and expanded workforce and youth development opportunities.
Cedric has served in numerous leadership positions throughout Arkansas, including service with the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, ARISA Health, East Arkansas Planning and Development District, the Forrest City Area Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and numerous youth and community initiatives.
